PA Register

Wiltshire Direct Payment Support Service operate this register to assist disabled people living in Wilthshire in finding Personal Assistants (PAs). This in no way acts as a recommendation of any PA and we do not CRB check PAs or carry out any other suitability checks prior to entry on the register. It is therefore important that the potential employer carries out any checks they feel necessary before employing anyone.

If you are looking for a PA, click on the link to search for someone who may match your requirements. Then telephone our office on 0844 984 2828, giving the reference of the PA(s) you are interested in. One of two things can then happen.

• If you are hoping to include them in your normal recruitment process, we will send the PA a job pack and an application form for completion and return, so that you can consider them for employment alongside any other applicants.
• If you are hoping to find someone more quickly (for example for emergency cover for your usual PA) we may be able to give you a contact telephone number for the PA. This will depend upon whether we have permission to give out their telephone number.

If you are a PA looking for work, click on the link to add yourself to our database. Once you have answered the questions, click submit and within 2 working days your entry should be cleared and on the database. If we have any questions we may contact you before clearing the entry.

The full database is not accessible on the website, so your identity will be protected. The only information which will be passed on to anyone is your telephone number. The person recruiting their Personal Assistnat will then contact you. Alternatively, you will receive a job pack and an application form, so that you can decide whether you wish to apply for the post.
